Job Description: Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Strategy

Company Overview: A global leader in digital marketing, we are a key player in the industry, part of a distinguished family of companies. Currently, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics & Strategy with advanced expertise in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA). Our diverse clientele includes Fortune 500 companies, with a particular focus on the sports and entertainment sector.

Role Overview: In this client-facing role, you will play a crucial part as the day-to-day Analytics lead on the account. Your responsibilities will include managing offshore data analysts, advising clients on new metrics, and leveraging Adobe CJA for analytics, reporting, and journey execution & optimization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Expertise:
    • Practical knowledge of Adobe AEP technology stack, covering data ingestion, CDP, analytics & reporting, and journey execution & optimization.
    • Expertise in Adobe Analytics and Adobe CJA (Analysis Workspace).
  2. Client Collaboration:
    • Act as the main point of contact for analytics on the account, fostering an inclusive environment and encouraging innovative solutions for fan journey orchestration.
  3. Leadership and Problem Solving:
    • Demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership, and solution development across various technologies and programs.
    • Effectively handle ambiguous and unstructured problems, demonstrating leadership in integrating new technology.
  4. Communication and Collaboration:
    • Navigate seamlessly between big-picture thinking and managing relevant details.
    • Contribute technical knowledge in analytics innovation and associated measurement/dashboard systems.
  5. Marketing Transformation:
    • Drive end-to-end digital marketing transformation, shaping analytics strategy, business goals, marketing innovation, and deliverables.
  6. Consulting and Engagement:
    • Provide consulting expertise for enterprise-wide marketing and analytics solutions.
    • Engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategy, articulate solution options, evaluate tradeoffs, and influence key decisions.
  7. Project Management:
    • Project manage through the full lifecycle, prioritizing, sequencing, executing, and delivering projects on time and on budget.

Skills and Experience Desired:

  • Adobe certification, or willingness to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in an industry-leading client environment or a leading digital marketing agency, preferably servicing the sports and entertainment sector.
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, and solution development across various technologies and programs.
  • Ability to generate advanced analytics and insights from raw data.
  • Experience in evaluating, implementing, and managing martech solutions, including data management platforms and customer data platforms.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s a plus.
