Job Title: Data Analyst, Data Mining

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst – Data Mining to join our team. As a Data Analyst – Data Mining, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating insights and recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
- Develop and communicate insights and recommendations to leadership based on data analysis.
- Use advanced analytics techniques such as clustering and regression analysis to generate proprietary insights from data.
- Structure ambiguous business problems logically, ask the right questions, and challenge assumptions to solve complex problems.
- Synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into actionable recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Craft an effective data and insights-driven narrative for non-technical stakeholders.
- Work autonomously to high standards with a high degree of attention to detail.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Degree in a quantitative or scientific field (Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience in data mining techniques including the use of advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data and generate proprietary insights from it.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an inherent curiosity to understand the “why”.
- Strong problem-solving skills including the ability to structure ambiguous business problems logically, ask the right questions, and challenge assumptions.
- Ability to synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into actionable recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Proficiency in crafting a data and insights-driven narrative for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously to high standards with a high degree of attention to detail.
