Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and APIs using Java.Collaborate with front-end and mobile developers to integrate back-end functionalities with user-facing elements.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues in production and non-production environments.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to our systems to maintain a competitive edge.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and testing processes.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- 5+ years of experience in Java back-end development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while managing tasks and deadlines effectively.
